Meet Our Pastor

Greetings from Pastor Clarence Williams, III

Welcome to the web site of the Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church.  We're grateful for your visit.  We are here to serve you, our friends in Christ.  Please take a tour of our site to learn more about who we are
and how we serve our members, visiting friends, and surrounding community.  Our prayer is that you will be impressed to visit us soon for a day of worship, learning, and sharing.  We strive to know God better and make him known to all we meet.  Come as you are and become a part of a growing church family where everyone is special.

Pastor Clarence Williams, III was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and is married to the former Sara Mathes.  They have three sons, Carlton, Reginald, and Maurice, and two granddaughters.
Pastor Williams has organized and built several churches during his tenure in the Southwest.  As a student in Keene, Texas, he worked in the then “un-entered” areas of Hillsboro and Waxahachie Texas, giving Bible studies and leading souls to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. Today, we have documented churches in both cities. After graduation from Southwestern Union College, his first district was in Kenner, Louisiana.  He attended Andrews University and earned a Master’s Degree in Church Administration.
While in the Amarillo/Lubbock, Texas district, he entered new territory in the far West, and congregations were established in Midland, Anton, and Petersburg, Texas. In addition, he established a church in Hobbs, New Mexico. While at Tenth Street in Oklahoma City, he conducted evangelistic meetings in Ada, Oklahoma and established a congregation there.  In addition, he was the keynote speaker for “Save the Children” at the State Capitol in Oklahoma City.  Under his leadership, the first certified non-profit Adult Day Care Center was created.  An annual “Salute to Oklahoma Achievers Awards Banquet” was also established as an avenue to recognize and award youth and adult achievers in the local Adventist church and the community.
He has served on several committees in the Southwest Region Conference. Also, he has conducted numerous workshops and seminars on Marriage and Family, Conflict Resolution, Black History, and Personal Finance.
During his ministry in San Antonio, Texas, he conducted a Revelation Seminar in Fredericksburg. He organized a company of believers who were enthusiastic about Christ’s second coming.
He is a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, National Board Certified Counselor, and a member of the American Counseling Association.

Presently, he is pastor of the Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church in Houston, Texas.  Website: bereansdahouston.org.  Live and archived broadcasts can be viewed over the internet at praizevision.com.
